Bournemouth Air Festival is a
4-day event usually held in late summer every year over the long sea front.
The airshow is usually very well attended with approximately 250,000 visitors over the four days.

There is also a great variation in the types of aircraft displaying and The Red Arrows always turn up. They particularly like displaying at this event despite the tragic death of, Red 4, John Egging on August 20th 2011.
Not forgetting, Red 5, Sean Cunningham who also died 8th November 2011 in a tragic ejector seat accident at RAF Scampton.
