The 70th anniversary of the
D-Day landings re-enacted on Southsea beach, Portsmouth, UK.


The Royal Marines put on a terrific display, of course (it's a state of mind), and so did the Red Arrows.

There was a powerful foreign presence with the participation of the huge dutch assault ship HNLMS Johan de Witt while the Royal Navy was represented by HMS Bulwark.
